Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in OkeOvoro, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, during their  meeting at the residence of the deputy leader of the legislative arm of the council ,Hon Kingsley Umunnakee  in Lorji, unanimously passed a vote of implicit confidence on Governor Hope Uzodimma and Executive Chairman of Aboh Mbaise LGA, Barrister Iheukwumere Alaribe.

The motion was moved by Hon Bob Ufomadu and seconded by Hon HygenusNkwocha. Rt Hon Kingsley Umunnakwe, Deputy Leader of the Aboh Mbaise Legislative Council, put the motion to a vote and spoke in support of the motion, highlighting the governor’s achievements, including:

The dualization of the Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia road,

Awarding contract for the Ngor Okpala to Aba branch road through Aboh/Ezinihitte/Ahiazu Mbaise,

renovating health centers in OkeOvoro and Aboh Mbaise to optimize healthcare service delivery,

enrolling poor and vulnerable households in the ImoCare Health Insurance Program to ease the medical burden on them and appointing MsKosilisochukwuEkeNjoku, a daughter of Aboh Mbaise, as Executive Secretary of the Imo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency

Rt Hon Umunnakwe also commended Barr. Alaribe’s initiatives, which include:

Grading rural roads across every community in Aboh Mbaise,

awarding ofconstituency projects worth over N11 million in each of the 12 wards,

renovation and furnishing of councillors’ chambers and offices and construction of the new administrative building.

In his address, Chairman Alaribe thanked the stakeholders for their continued support of the administration, led by Governor Hope Uzodimma. He acknowledged that the achievements wouldn’t have been possible without the governor’s support, stating that Governor Uzodimma had given them a listening ear and enabled a fair ground for them to operate. He charged the stakeholders and party faithful to be resilient and continue to support the party.

The meeting ended with the stakeholders reaffirming their dedication to the party and Chairman Alaribe’s leadership.
