President Bola Tinubu, yesterday, inaugurated new members of the Nigeria Law Reforms Commission, NLRC, ahead of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The swearing-in, which held at the Council Chambers, was a brief but formal ceremony.

Those sworn in included Professor Dakas CJ Dakas, who assumes the role of Chairman, and Dr. Uchenna Eugene, appointed as Commissioner.

Before the commencement of deliberations, the FEC, presided observed a minute of silence in honour of Chief AuduOgbeh, former Minister of Agriculture and ex-National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who passed away recently.

Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, described the late Ogbeh as a committed and patriotic Nigerian whose service to the nation spanned decades.

In attendance at the meeting were Vice President KashimShettima, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Esther DidiWalson-Jack, National Security Adviser, MallamNuhuRibadu, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Also present were ministers and heads of ministries scheduled to make presentations during the session.
