President Bola Tinubu said he will clear his schedule to pay a condolence visit to the people of Benue State on Wednesday.

This followed attacks in Yelewata community, Guma Local Government Area of the state, where about 250 people were killed by suspected herdsmen.

The reports had it that Tinubu has been criticised by Nigerians over his poor response to the Benue crisis.

Several Nigerians have questioned his failure, up till now, to visit the troubled area.
