The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has continued to receive commendations for his sweeping reforms in workers’ welfare and infrastructural renewal across the State.
In a congratulatory message issued by the founder of the Richard Ottih Humanitarian Foundation, Hon. Richard Ugochukwu Ottih, the governor was lauded for what was described as “purposeful leadership and visionary governance” that has redefined the socio-economic landscape of Imo.
Hon. Ottih highlighted the governor’s recent approval of a ₦104,000 minimum wage for civil servants, enhanced salary structures for medical doctors and lecturers, as well as other bold welfare reforms, noting that such measures demonstrate genuine concern for the wellbeing of the workforce.
“Your Excellency has shown uncommon commitment to the welfare of Imo workers and the transformation of our state. These reforms are clear evidence of your love for the workforce and your dedication to improving lives,” Ottih stated.
He further praised the governor’s infrastructural strides, citing the nearly completed Control Post Interchange Flyover, the International Conference Centre, the ongoing reconstruction of the iconic Concorde Hotel, and strategic works at Port Harcourt Road as landmark projects that will leave indelible footprints in the state’s development history.
According to him, Governor Uzodimma has set a new standard of governance “through action, not promises,” stressing that history would remember him for his enduring legacies.
“Imo is proud of your achievements, Your Excellency. You have redefined governance in ways that speak volumes of your purposeful leadership,” Hon. Ottih added.
