The Progressive Governors Forum has congratulated Muslim faithful across the country for the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan.

The forum urged them to continue to pray for the peace and stability of Nigeria as well for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for Allah to grant him greater wisdom.

In a statement personally signed by the Chairman of the Forum and Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Forum noted that the end of Ramadan was indeed a joyous occasion after days of fasting, prayer and spiritual renewal.

The Forum reminded the Muslim faithful of the values of love, compassion, and self-discipline as embodied in the fasting and prayer, saying they should employ it for nation building.

“Let us all, regardless of faith, show kindness, promote harmony, and work together for a stronger Nigeria,” the statement added.

The Forum wished all Muslims and their families a joyous Eid Mubarak celebration.
