As Imo State goes to Council Election on 21st September 2024, a core administrator, polished politician, development- minded and kind-hearted human, Hon. Willie TC Okolieogwo, has vowed that he will intensify good leadership with a view to improving social development, economic prosperity, unity, peace, security and relaxation in Oru West if he is elected Executive Chairman of Oru West Council.

Okolieogwo made the promise when he addressed the mammoth of supporters and party members shortly after obtaining the nomination and expression of interest forms at APC State Secretariat last week.

Okolieogwo who deeply expressed joy over the encouragement and love shown to him by the people of Oru West, his supporters, friends and relatives, stressed that he will deploy his wealth of experience to render effective service to the people to improve social, economic development, peace, orderliness, good living and conviviality at the agrarian area.

The former Interim Management Committee Chairman and immediate past Sole Administrator of Oru West LGA, stated that he is coming back to the Council to improve goodness and progress of the locality, saying good turn deserves another.

While appealing to the people of Oru West to consider him fit and worthy of the exalted Executive Chairmanship position and elect him, Okolieogwo reiterated his commitment and desire to strengthen good governance therein in line with the 3R Agenda of the APC and Governor Hope Uzodimma led administration to advance better living.

Thanking the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Hope Uzodimma, for availing him opportunity to gain administrative/political experience through those capacities, the immediate past Chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Imo State Chapter, lauded the Governor for governing the people efficiently and humanely, hence his landmark achievements on road construction, rehabilitation, youth skill empowerment, health, among other goodies.
