Ahead of the second-term inauguration of Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, two prominent political figures in the state former Senator representing Anambra North, Stella Adaeze Oduah, and the incumbent Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Emmanuel C. Nwachukwu have congratulated the governor on the occasion, describing his leadership as impactful, visionary and deserving of continued public support.
In separate statements issued on Monday and made available to The Sun, the two leaders commended the governor’s performance in office, noting that his re-election reflects the confidence Ndi Anambra have in his leadership and developmental agenda for the state.
Senator Oduah, in her congratulatory message, praised what she described as Soludo’s visible governance and deliberate efforts to strengthen development across Anambra State.
She said the administration has demonstrated that leadership should be measured by tangible impact on the lives of citizens rather than political rhetoric.
According to the former lawmaker, the effects of purposeful governance are becoming increasingly evident across the state, particularly through ongoing infrastructure improvements that are reconnecting communities and stimulating economic activities.
Oduah noted that roads that once posed serious challenges for commuters are gradually being transformed, easing movement for farmers transporting produce, traders moving goods to markets and entrepreneurs striving to grow their businesses.
She also commended the state government’s efforts to restore order in urban areas, stressing that a cleaner and better-organised environment improves public health, strengthens civic discipline and boosts investor confidence.
The former aviation minister particularly highlighted the One Youth Two Skills Initiative, describing it as a strategic programme designed to equip thousands of young people with practical and marketable skills.
According to her, the initiative is laying the foundation for a productive and self-reliant generation by empowering youths to create value and build sustainable livelihoods.
Oduah stressed that the development of Anambra remains a collective responsibility and urged continued support for initiatives that advance the welfare and prosperity of the state.
She further wished the governor wisdom and strength as he begins another term in office, expressing hope that the new tenure would consolidate ongoing progress and expand opportunities for the people of Anambra.
Similarly, Senator Nwachukwu described the governor’s second-term inauguration as a defining moment for the people of the state, noting that Soludo’s re-election reflects the strong confidence and trust reposed in his leadership by Ndi Anambra.
He stated that the governor’s first term was marked by remarkable achievements, bold reforms and a clear vision aimed at transforming the state across key sectors.
According to the lawmaker, the overwhelming support from the electorate underscores the impact of the governor’s policies and his commitment to progressive governance.
Senator Nwachukwu expressed optimism that the renewed mandate would usher in greater strides in development, innovation and prosperity for Anambra State.
“On behalf of the good people of Anambra South Senatorial District, I warmly celebrate Mr Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, on this historic occasion. I remain confident that his visionary and purposeful leadership will continue to advance the growth and progress of our dear state,” he said.
The senator also prayed for wisdom, strength and continued success for the governor as he embarks on another term of service to the people of Anambra State.
