The Sole Administrator of Mbaitoli LGA Hon Ifunanya Nwanegwo has embarked on total rehabilitation, renovation, beautification and clearing of compound on the LGA headquarters, as part of measures to change the face of the LGA.

Hon Ifunanya made this known, while inspecting the ongoing renovation in his office at the Council headquarters at Nwaorieubi, Mbaitoli LGA.

He said that the move became necessary, following the deplorable condition of buildings that pose danger to the lives and property of the Council workers.

He noted that the LGA could be developed through personal efforts, without depending on the state government,

Hon Ifunanya also embarked on total reactivation of the borehole and reticulation of water to the various departments of the Council Secretariat with modern equipment such as procurement and installation of solar powered lights that will illuminate the LGA Secretariat at night.

He urged the Mbaitoli workers to take responsibility for protecting the facilities at the borehole area.

As a way of encouraging and motivating the workers, the Council Boss on his made sure that the rehabilitation, renovation and beautification going on in the LGA secretariat is extended to other departments, which also includes, lightning up of the various Departments and installation of Air conditioner to the National Population Commissions office, with painting of Council Secretariat.

Hon Ifunanya, who made the call while inspecting the ongoing rehabilitation and renovation on the facilities at the Council Area called on the Council workers to desist from vandalizing the facilities at the LGA.

The youthful SOLAD noted that this new move would complement the efforts of the State governor Dist Sentor Hope Uzodimma, towards provision of other social amenities to the LGA.

The vibrant SOLAD was accompanied by the Director of Administration and General Services (DAGS) Bar Kingsley Uwakwem, and an enlarge Council workers of the local government, who watched in joyous mood, as Mbaitoli LGA receives new look.
