Imo State Chief Executive, Senator Dr Hope Uzodimma has showered praises on the Chike Olemgbe-led Imo State House of Assembly, over the Assembly’s splendid performance in the business of lawmaking, oversight functions and support to the executive, arm in piloting the affairs of the state.

Governor Uzodimma, who made  the heart-warming commendations to the leadership and members of the 10th House Legislative Assembly yesterday, while presenting his scorecard ( state of the state) address to a special plenary of the Legislative House, which had many other prominent Imo stakeholders in attendance, recalled that the House, since its inauguration two years ago, has been consistent with making development-oriented and life-transforming  laws ( bills and motions) that empowered and encouraged the governor and his executive team in the discharge of their duties.

Senator Hope Uzodimma charged  the  leadership of the House to remain focused in their service to the state.

Earlier in his welcome address, the House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe, applauded Governor Uzodimma for resolving to come up in less than two years of his inauguration for a second tenure of office, with account of stewardship to Imo people.

Chike Olemgbe  pointed out that Uzodimma had substantially, justified the mandate given to him by Imo people to pilot the affairs of the state.

ChikeOlemgbeexpressed  his immense happiness that Hope Uzodimma’s giant strides in all sectors of the economy had turned the state to an envy of a place.
