…Charges team to deliver Party’s candidate
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State on the latter’s choice as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), National Campaign Council for the Osun State governorship election.
The President did yesterday in a message he personally sent to the Governor on the critical assignment.
“Congratulations to the Chairman of the APC National Campaign Committee for the Osun State governorship election, Governor Hope Uzodimma.
“I charge you all to deliver the State for the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Oyebamiji,” President Tinubu wrote.
Uzodimma, Chairman of Progressives Governors’ Forum, Chairman of South East Governors Forum, Director General of Renewed Hope Agenda Ambassadors among other national roles, is not new to such assignments.
His leadership prowess, organisational strategies and active participation in the affairs of the APC saw the Party winning convincingly the Edo, Bayelsa, and recently, Ekiti States’ stand alone elections.
President Tinubu’s congratulatory message is not just a moral booster for the Governor and his team to put in their best for the Party, but a reaffirmation of the confidence Mr. President has in the capacity of Uzodimma to achieve results in any assignment he is saddled with.
On Tuesday at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, the 276 members of the APC National Campaign Council for the Osun State governorship election, and the subcommittees under the leadership of Uzodimma, were inaugurated.
Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, President of the Senate, Godson Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas serve as Co-Chair.
