The Ward Women Leaders of Nwangele Local Government Area paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Nwangele LGA, Hon. Chief Paul Chijioke Duru, at the Council Headquarters, Amaigbo, in a demonstration of solidarity, support, and commitment to the growth of the Local Government and the ruling party.

Welcoming the delegation to his office, the Executive Chairman expressed appreciation to the women leaders for the visit and assured them that their requests would receive due consideration. He emphasized the important role women play in politics and governance, assuring them that they would continue to be carried along in political activities and decision-making processes.

Chief Duru reiterated his commitment to ensuring that women are adequately recognized and empowered across the various wards and polling units in the Local Government Area. He encouraged the women to remain steadfast in their support for the ruling party and the government, noting that their contributions remain invaluable to the political success of the party.

The Chairman further assured the women leaders that empowerment programmes aimed at improving their welfare and enhancing their political participation would be implemented in due course.

Earlier in her address, the Nwangele LGA Woman Leader, Hon. Mrs. Rose Okezuo, thanked the Executive Chairman for granting them audience and commended him for his outstanding performance and developmental strides in the council area.

Mrs. Okezuo assured the Chairman of the unwavering support, cooperation, and loyalty of the ward women leaders, adding that they would continue to mobilize and encourage the people of Nwangele to support and join the ruling party.

Also speaking, the Vice Woman Leader, Mrs. Happiness Uzoegbu, highlighted the benefits of supporting the ruling party and emphasized the importance of praying for and supporting the government in power. She pledged the continued support and cooperation of the women leaders towards the success of the administration.

Present during the visit were Hon. Ferdinand Akano, Ward Women Leaders, and other stakeholders.
