A Social-Political group, Orlu Political Consultative Assembly (OPOCA), said that the Federal Lawmaker representing Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. AkarachiAmadi, must apologize to Orlu Zone for making what it called, provocative and false claims, at the floor of the House. Also, to apologize to Orlu zone over the same provocative and false claims is Barr. Kingsley Ononuju.
This was contained in a statement signed by theSpokesperson for OPOCA High Command and Conclave, Chief Hon. Greg Obioha. It would be recalled that Hon. AkarachiAmadi had claimed that Mbaitoli was more populated than three local government arrears in Orlu Zone. Similarly,Barr. Kingsley Ononuju, had in an Advertorial, published in one of the local tabloids, on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, endorsed the claims by the National Lawmaker. The statement said further: “While we were waiting patiently for the leaders of Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency to call their son, Hon AkarachiAmadi, to order over his unwarranted insult to Orlu Zone, to wit that Mbaitoli is more populated than three local government areas in Orlu, Hon. Barr. Kingsley Ononuju, the self-styled leader of Mbaike, has left no one in doubt, as to who sent Amadi on that political suicide mission.”
According to OPOCA: “The suspicion of the expansionist agenda by Mbaike people, tethering towards political hegemony, was confirmed and amplified by Ononuju, who saw nothing wrong with the political sacrilege committed by Akarachi, on the floor of the House of Representatives. With this confirmation, what transpired was not blunder or slip of the tongue, as we erroneously assumed, but a deliberate and carefully crafted script intended to humiliate Orlu people and render them politically ineffectual.”
