The Secretary of Umuoronjo Youth Organization, Comr. Ugochukwu Nwosu, yesterday, played host to the women of Umunwagbaraocha village, in Umuoronjo Autonomous Community of the Owerri Municipal Council.
Speaking, during gathering, in Owerri, Nwosu noted, that mothers of the area have contributed towards the development of the State, adding that he holds them in a high esteem.
Nwosu applauded the administration of his Excellency Dist. Senator Hope Uzodinma ONWA in all his numerous road projects and achievements so far. He urged the women to keep supporting the Governor’s administration spiritually, physically and otherwise.
In his speech, during the ceremony, the Imo State Commissioner for Youths Development and Talent Hunt, Hon. Mandela Ukaegbu who was a guest, at the meeting commended the Secretary of Umuoronjo Youth, Comr. Ugochukwu Nwosu for the love he hasshown to women of the area.
He pledged to support the programme with inclusion of ten (10) more women into the existing ones in order to be among the beneficiaries.
“We are going to always bring in government initiatives to you through your beloved son”, he assured.
Head of the women, Lady (Mrs.) Chizoma Emeana, in her speech, expressed appreciation to the Youth Secretary, Ugochukwu Nwosu for his benevolence
“Our son, we are grateful to you for remembering your mothers, even in these times of hardship in the country. We pray God Almighty to bless and reward you handsomely”, she prayed.
The Executive Chairman of Owerri Municipal, Hon. Bldr. Chidiebere Emeribe breezed in during the meeting.
