The new Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun has been sworn-in by President Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu presided over Kekere-Ekuns swearing-in at the Council Chambers, Presidential Villa in Abuja, yesterday.

Last week, the Senate confirmed Kekere-Ekun as the new CJN.

This followed her screening on the floor of the upper legislative chamber.

Tinubu had named her the new acting CJN following the retirement of her predecessor, Justice Olukoyede Ariwoola.
