President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the family of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

Senator Uba, who represented the Anambra South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, died on Saturday morning.

He was a renowned businessman and a governorship aspirant for the forthcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election.

Reacting to the sad incident, President Tinubu in a statement by his spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, prayed to God to strengthen the family of the deceased.

“President Tinubu commiserates with the friends and colleagues of the late Senator, the National Assembly, and the government and people of Anambra State over this sad loss.

“The President prays for the repose of the soul of the departed lawmaker, as well as for strength and comfort to his family”, he said.
