The Abia State governor, Dr Alex Chioma Otti has congratulated the Abia chairman, Pentecostal Felloweship of Nigeria (PFN) and general overseer of Holy Ghost Bible Church, Archbishop Dr. Chikezie Elekwa on his 60th birthday while lauding the burning passion the Archbishop has for the kingdom of God.

The governor who was represented by his deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, at the occasion held at the church auditorium Amuzukwu layout Umuahia attributerd that the life of the celebrant has been of God’s faithfulness and goodness as he gloriously step onto the 6th decade of his life, noting that his life has been characterized by a burning passion for the kingdom of God and a conviction to see people blessed and transformed.

Otti said that it is amazing on how the bishop keep waxing strong in the grace of God with unfading youthful zest. “Like the biblical Caleb in the book of Joshua chapter 14 verse 11, you are still taking mountain for the Lord; as your strength was then when the Lord sent you, so is it now”.

He also described the bishop as a mentor, soul winner, a preacher, a philanthropist, a visionary leader and a progressive leadership as Chairman of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Abia State chapter, who has consistently stood on the part of truth, justice and holiness, tenderly giving and directing the flock of God under his care.

Furthermore, Otti stated that the life of Bishop Elekwachi is a testament to the unbroken power of positive dreams which is reflected in the inspiring personality to his biological children and spiritual children who are proud to have a father figure like him in their lives.

In their Goodwill messages, Arch Diocesan Headquarters Ugwunchara Methodist Church Umuahia, Most Rev (Dr.) C. Raphael Opoko, the Church of God in Christ Owerri Archbishop Innocent Eremujor, the coordinator of single and marriage Mrs Chioma Ibezim, the State Secretary Pentecostal Fellowship, Apostle Blessing Amalambu, describe the celebrant as a purposeful man, a man one that is so impactful without err, a blessing to many, a man who is willing to listen to people’s cry.

In his vote of thanks, His eminence Archbishop Dr. Chikezie Emmanuel Elekwachi JP thanked Governor Alex Otti who was represented by his deputy Engr. Emetu and other prominent personalities for gracing the occasion of his 60th birthday, despite their busy schedule.

He narrated how the almighty God saved him from food poison and also from a ghastly motor accident.
