… For restoring peace in Awa, Abiaziem communities
Sponsor of the upcoming Nnukwu Ihe 2025 Football Tournament, a respected son of Abiaziem Community in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State , Chief Sir Kingsley Ugochukwu Okoroafor” Nnukwu Ihe 1 of Oguta” has commended the Imo State Governor, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma, The Oguta LGA Executive Chairman, Hon. Ifeanyi Nani, management staff of Antan Producing Limited, community leaders and other agencies for their prompt response in making sure there is lasting peace between Awa and Abiaziem communities, as he wished them more blessings in this new month.
Chief Okoroafor made this known while interacting with Newsmen after a town hall cum peace Accord meeting.
On the outcome of the meeting, Chief Okoroafor hinted that peace has returned to Awa, Abiaziem communities, in his words ” I thank the Governor of Imo state Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma, Oguta LGA Executive Chairman Hon. Nani, Members of Antan Producing Limited, and other agencies for their intervention in bringing peace in our community, I also thank the leadership of Awa and Abiaziem communities for their understanding ” he submitted.
Chief Okoroafor who is a key stakeholder in Oguta LGA of Imo state expressed happiness that peace has been restored, he also thanked the organizers of the meeting on their efforts in making sure the peace accord between Awa and Abiaziem communities was a success, he also enjoined the indigenes of both communities to continue in their peaceful disposition.
Meanwhile, as plans are on top gear to host the 2025 Nnukwu Ihe football tournament set to hold November 8 at Oguta LGA, Chief Okoroafor seized the platform to reel out the importance of sports, which he said will create an avenue to discover new talents, lead the youths into meaningful engagements and keep them busy instead of indulging in social vices.
Chief Okoroafor, a core humanitarian and owner of so many business conglomerates also wished the attendees a successful trip to the upcoming tournament. The tournament is one of the good plans amongst too many courtesy of Chief Okoroafor.
