The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), in collaboration with UNICEF and the government of Imo State, is organizing a two-day capacity-building workshop in Owerri, Imo State, on Wednesday, 23rd, and Thursday, 24th October, 2024.

The workshop with the theme, ‘THE MEDIA AS PARTNERS IN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT’ is for editors in the nine (9) states of the Guild’s Eastern Zone.

According to a statement signed by the NGE Vice President, East, Sheddy Ozoene, in the first part of the workshop, only 45 editors were randomly selected by the Guild and UNICEF. Another batch will be selected to participate in the next program.

He said for those selected and already contacted, should arrive Owerri on Tuesday, 22nd October 2024, while departure will be on Friday, 25th October 2024.
