High Chief George Whyte Iwuamadi (Oshimiri), a prominent Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Uzoagba political ward of Ikeduru local government area has applauded the Imo state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the local government Chairman, Hon Justice Nze, the Operational Leader of APC in Owerri zone and illustrious indigene of Ikeduru, Prince Charles Amadi (Charlvon) as well as other well-meaning stakeholders of Ikeduru LGA over the amazing and elaborate preparations being made for the burial of the immediate past President-general of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and son of Ikeduru, Engr Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu on Friday, November 1, 2024.
In a press statement issued to news- men in Owerri, High Chief George Whyte Iwuamadi who is the Chief Executive of DeGodfather’s Lounge, New Owerri and Riv Island Hotel, Owerri, described the elaborate preparations for Iwuanyanwu’s befitting burial as an eloquent testimony that His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, the executive governor of Imo state of Nigeria, had great respect for the Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo while he was alive.
Iwuamadi further pointed out that Governor Hope Uzodimma from the outset, demonstrated serious commitment to ensuring befitting burial for Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu by superintending over the setting up of national and local burial committees that are already putting finishing touch to the burial plan.
High Chief Iwuamadi also gave Kudos to the Ikeduru local government Chairman, Justice Nze and APC Operational Leader, Prince Charles Amadi for ensuring the prevalence of peace and co-operation from Ikeduru indigenes during the preparation for the burial proper.
According to High Chief George Whyte Iwuamadi, the deceased, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, CFR was a detribalised Nigerian, great political leader, kind-hearted philanthropist and beacon of success in many areas of life.
