Imo State House Of Assembly yesterday during a State of the State Address presented by State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma at the Assembly Complex resolved to passed vote of confidence on President Bola Tinubu and endorsed him as the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Come 2027 presidential election.
The House also agreed topassed a vote of confidence on Governor Uzodimma.
The House Further agreed to passed Vote Of Confidence on the Ruling Party in Nigeria All Progressives Congress (APC)
This was as a result of a motion moved by the Deputy Speaker of the House,Rt Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu and seconded by the Minority Leader Hon,PrincewellUgochukwuAmuechie.
Moving the motion, Hon Iwuanyanwu said that president Tinubu has done well in terms developmental projects and deserved second term in office.
Deputy Speaker also noted that Governor Uzodimma has shown capacity on governance and highlighted some of the developmental projects embarked by the present administration led by Governor Uzodimma.
He pointed out that Governor Uzodimma has done well on the area of road construction, health care delivery, education, payment of salary of civil servants etc.
He pointed out that APC as ruling party has performed well which has made many politicians to join the party.
