A 43 years woman, Mrs Njideka Okoye has cried out, stating that barely a month she moved into a new shop at World Bank Housing Estate, Umuahia, Abia state, robbers invaded the shop at midnight, carting away 70 bags of Nigeria foreign rice.
Speaking to our reporter, Mrs Okoye who resides at Agbama, said she moved into the new shop 3rd of April and 29th of April she was robbed.
“On that faithful day, I came to the shop in the morning hours, I wanted to open the shop and I discovered that the padlock had been broken and entering the shop I saw a complete empty shop, my rice all gone” Mrs Okoye revealed.
She disclosed that it took her and husband some years to save up to 7 million naira to start the business and less than a month, lost everything.
“I am devastated, down cast, because to rise such money now is very difficult, i and husband sacrificed our comfort to ensure i start the business and within a short period, all is gone.
She called on good spirited Nigerians to help her to enable her regained what she has lost.
