The 2026 Aboh Mbaise Women August Meeting Grand Finale wrapped up on a vibrant note on Thursday, August 27, 2026, as matrons and delegates representing all twelve wards convened at the Aboh Mbaise Local Government Council Headquarters to observe tradition, unity, and local progress.
The occasion drew prominent civic authorities, public officials, royal fathers alongside their spouses, community heads, women’s groups, youth coalitions, and key stakeholders from across Aboh Mbaise and Imo State.
The final ceremony was highlighted by rich cultural performances, instructional talks, a precision parade, dramatic skits, a runway fashion display, and collective prayers. A central focus of the day was an economic upliftment program spearheaded by the chairperson, Mrs. Theodora Alaribe. To assist grassroots entrepreneurs in establishing small-scale enterprises, large frying equipment was distributed to vulnerable participants who had been nominated directly by their respective zonal women leaders.
Notable dignitaries present included Chief Charles Ogu, acting on behalf of APC Senatorial Candidate Prince Alex Mbata; Barr. Ngozi Pat Ekeji, APC candidate for the Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency;
Hon. Ugochukwu Amuchie, candidate for the Aboh Mbaise State Constituency; and Sir Tony Awusaku, the Aboh Mbaise APC Local Government Party Chairman.
