The Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Chief Declan Emelumba, has extolled the leadership qualities and style of Governor Hope Uzodimma.

Commissioner Emelumba disclosed this in his opening remarks at the 2025 Budget Bilateral Discussions of his Ministry, held at the Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget and Statistics, State Secretariat Complex, Owerri.

The lnformation Commissioner, who highlighted the developmental strides of the 3R Mantra Administration, led by Governor Uzodimma, pointed out that the governor is committed and determined to deliver the dividends of democracy to Imo people.

He commended the State Ministry of Economic Planning , Budget and Statistics for good job, noting that planning is paramount in every organization.

Earlier in his speech, the Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget and Statistics, Chief Anselem Anyanwu, urged MDAs to project what is realistic in their budget proposal for the year 2025.

Contributing, the Director covering the duties of the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget and Statistics, Mr. Obinna Chibuzor, said the Budget Bilateral Discussion was people-oriented budget and enjoined the Ministry of Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, to ensure that their projections are realistic.

Present at the budget defence from the Ministry of Information were, the Head of the Department of Administration and Finance, Mrs. Tina Oparaku, the Director-General, Orient Radio & Television, Ms. Ify Onyegbule , the General-Manager, Statesman Newspaper, Mrs. Margret Dibia and other Head of Departments.
