How woman offered me ₦2m to injéct her husband with substance  that would kill him,  Nurse  Catherine reveals

A nurse, identified as Mgbeodichinma Catherine Nduka, has recounted an alleged encounter in which a woman reportedly offered her ₦2 million to inject her husband with a súbstance that would end his life.

According to Nduka, the woman was a relative of a patient receiving treatment at the hospital and had been seen around the ward several times.

She said the woman approached her one evening in the hospital corridor and asked to speak with her privately.

The nurse said she followed the woman outside the hospital, where the woman allegedly revealed that she was unhappy with her marriage and claimed that her husband had made her life miserable for years.

Nduka alleged that the woman then made the shocking request.

“I would give you ₦2 million to inject my husband with something that would end his life.”

The nurse said she initially thought the woman was joking, but soon realised that she was serious.

According to her account, she rejected the offer. The woman allegedly attempted to increase the amount, but Nduka said she remained firm in her refusal.

“I am a professional in my field and I was not trained to kill,” she recalled telling the woman. “I believe your pain is real. But what you are asking me to do would end two lives — his and yours — and it would leave your children without both parents.”

Nduka said the woman became emotional and eventually said nothing further.

She added that she reported the conversation to her unit manager that same evening, after which security around the woman’s husband was reportedly tightened.

“I never saw her again after that,” Nduka said.

Reflecting on the incident, the nurse said the encounter has remained in her thoughts.
