A female passenger has been discovered dead inside a moving Tricycle popularly known as Keke NAPEP in Aba, Abia State.
The incident happened on Tuesday evening around Railways Junction Aba, near the Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic gate, throwing the residents of area into shock and confusion.
It was gathered that the woman whose identity was not yet known as of Tuesday night, was aboard a commercial tricycle (Keke Napep) going to Railway Junction near Ezeukwu Road in the city.
It was further gathered that the woman was being conveyed in the tricycle but on arrival at her intended bus stop, she was discovered unresponsive, prompting the tricycle operator to raise alarm.
Some residents of Aba who reacted to the circulating picture of the incident on social media by yesterday, identified her as” Auntie Love,” a teacher and a Secretary in a popular school in Aba.
However, there was not yet an official confirmation of the victim’s true identity and residence from the Police or government agencies.
Message sent to the Public Relations Officer of Abia State Police Command, DSP Maureen Chinaka to confirm the incident was not replied at the time of this report.
