Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), Nyesom Wike has accused some governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), of playing two sides against President Bola Tinubu.
Wike said the governors love the president at night but say a different thing during the day.
The former governor of Rivers State spoke at the PDP’s Secretariat in Port Harcourt during the partys state congress, on Saturday.
He also explained his decision to work against the PDP during the presidential election.
According to Wike, PDP ignored justice, fairness, and equity during the last presidential election, hence his decision to work against the party.
Wike said: I didnt hide it in 2023 when I said PDP I would not support you for presidential election, I said I wont support PDP because it refused to allow equity, fairness, and justice. So, I have no regrets.
When Buhari was there, you never saw me play two sides; I never went to the Villa at night only to come out in the day to shout.
Some of them now love the president at night, but during the day, they say different things.
Be a man of character, stand so that people will know that this is who you are. I hear some people saying we are supporting somebody else, why won’t we support him?
We defeated your own candidates, tell us who was your candidate in 2023? They all lost, they are not ashamed that what they didn’t plant, they want to harvest. An armed robber is an armed robber any day, any time.
