As Imo State goes to council elections on September 21st 2024, Comr. Chiedozie Runcie Ikeri, has promised to render, fair and effective representation to the people of Amaraku Ward in Isiala Mbano LGA to add to the development of the community.
Ikeri made the promise while speaking with journalists after he submitted the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at APC headquarters in Owerri on Saturday.
He said he has the burning desire to impact the lives of the people of Amaraku Ward through political power hence his aspiration.
Ikeri who noted that he has the political capacity and leadership ingenuity to represent the people in the Legislative Council of Isiala Mbano, stated that if he emerges as Councillor, “I will serve my people well in line with democratic rules, following the blueprints of APC and 3R Policy Administration, to ensure that government gets into the grassroots for evenly distribution of democracy dividends”.
The vibrant youth who studied Government and Public Administration and decided to heed the call to serve his people, said his entrance into the Legislative Council will cause positive change in Amaraku Ward.
“Having fully granted autonomy to the local government system by the Supreme Court, my quest to diligently and fairly serve my people has been rekindled hence I cued into the contest because I’m committed to serve my people. If I’m elected, it is not going to be business as usual, as I shall work, assist both the federal and state executive to ensure dividends of democracy get to the people. I urge you all to support me and vote me in. I will not disappoint you”, Chiedozie pleaded.
