A local government Chairmanship aspirant, for Oguta Local Government Area, Hon. Richard Ottih, has expressed his desire to serve the people of the area if elected as Chairman in the forthcoming September 21 Council polls.
Ottih, stated this on Tuesday, 23rd, July 2024, while addressing the Press, shortly after he picked the All Progressive Congress, (APC) form, at the party’s State secretariat, Okigwe road, Owerri.
He said his aspiration was geared towards giving the people of Oguta the leadership they deserve, saying that he knows their challenges and has what it takes to tackle them.
He promised to bring his experience to bear in reengineering the system of Oguta and establish a path that would usher in rapid socio-economic development, including jobs creation and others.
He therefore appealed for the support of the people, saying he is competent, has the character and the needed qualities to drive the dividends of democracy the communities and affect the lives of the youths, women and men positively.
