A chairmanship aspirant for Owerri West Local Government Area, come September 21 Imo State Local Government election, Hon Barr. Clement Asoluka has asserted that with his expected emergence as the Executive Chairman, Owerri West was in for remarkable growth and development.

Asoluka made this assertion while fielding questions from newsmen after purchasing the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship form for the election.

“I have been very very consistent. I am the only aspirant who won in all the Polling units during the last election. I won five over five. There is none of them who had up to four. I am at home with my people.

“Also I was the LGA Collation agent for the member representing Owerri West, who is currently the Majority Leader, we did credibly well, and I made sure that the result was properly collated, not only that, I was able to supervise other agents. I made sure that I trained and retrained them.

He enthused that with his expected emergence, Owerri West was in for remarkable growth and development.

Asoluka reeled out some of his blueprint for the local government, which included; Renovation of the chapel in the LGA, completion of an ongoing one storey building for modern office accommodation, construction of rural roads in the LGA, comprehensive environmental sanitation, starting from the markets, among many others.

“I will work in tandem with His Excellency, who I believe is doing very well”.

On what gives him confidence of winning the election, Asoluka had this to say; Intellectually I am equipped, spiritually I am equipped. In terms of knowledg and experience, I am well equipped and in terms of contact, I have strong contact with God Almighty”.
