The former Sole Administrator of Orlu Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Christian Mbarie has picked the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship form to contest the Executive chairmanship of the LGA, declaring his intention to make the LGA better in all ramifications.

Fielding questions from newsmen, Hon. Mbarie said he did a lot to improve the lot of the LGA which was in disarray before he was appointed the Sole Administrator. He said before his appointment, insecurity held the LGA hostage.

“But as a result of my emergence as the Sole Administrator, God used me to restore security to Orlu. And because I believe I have an unfinished work, because my time as Sole Administrator was short. I want to go in now as the executive chairman, to put things right.

“I want to set a pace, a legacy that will stand the test of time, which our future generation will see and know that someone like me once occupied that seat”.

On his chances of victory, Pastor Mbarie said because of his antecedents, both in and out of government, he is almost certain of victory at the polls.

“I am certain other contestants will soon step down for me, because I am the most qualified. They know I have all it takes to take Orlu to the next level”, Pastor Mbarie enthused.
