A Local Government Chairmanship aspirant for Owerri Municipal Council, Prince Evans Anozie, has assured that he would life meaningful for his people if elected.

It could be recalled, that the Imo Governor, Hope Uzodimma has approved that the Local Government election shall hold on September, 21st, 2024.

Anozie made this statement while declaring his interest to contest for Chairmanship for Owerri Municipal Council, in Owerri, under the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, on Monday, in his house.

He noted, that agriculture, health, education, youths empowerment, commerce & industry and others sectors shall be looked into, pledging to everyone would be made happy if he is declared winner of the election come September, 21.

Anozie disclosed, that he is familiar with the challenges being faced by the communities in the the council area, saying that they would be addressed immediately if he is voted into power.

In their separate speeches, at the ceremony, The Director General, Prince Evan Anozie Campaign Organization, Hon. Chinedu Mbah, An APC stalwart, Alhaji Ibrahim Onyeagocha, the Owerri Municipal Council APC Woman leader, Mrs Ebere Nwogu, Hon. Uju Maduforo and David Okonkwo, said that Owerri Municipal has fifty languages and that these people are going to vote for him during the election.

“Your outing as Local Government Chairman would bring goodies to us. Therefore, we want to use this medium to urge you not to forget us”.

Also speaking, leader of Mechanic Village, Joseph Ezekwesiri, assured him that they are going to support all the APC stakeholders during the polls.

The Coordinator, Austin Enwerem, from Azuahia, thanked them and said the aspirant, Prince Anozie, has a large heart to carry everyone along.
