Isu LGA Daughters Association pays courtesy visit to LGA  Chairman

…Reaffirms solidarity, commitment to grassroots development

In a significant demonstration of unity, confidence, and collective commitment to the advancement of Isu  local government area, members of the Isu  LGA Daughters Association,  recently paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to the  Chairman of  the  area, Hon. Chief Kenneth Ukah.

The visit  took place in his office at the Council’s  headquarters  at Umundugba.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Association to express its unwavering solidarity, and total support for the visionary leadership, transparent administration, and people-oriented governance of Hon. Chief Kenneth Ukah.

The Association commended the  Chairman for his tireless efforts at promoting peace, accelerating grassroots development, and providing purposeful leadership that continues to inspire confidence and hope among the people of ISU local government area.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the leader of the association briefed the  Chairman on the vision, mission, and objectives of the Isu  LGA Daughters Association. She explained that the Association was committed to complementing the efforts of government,  by initiating impactful community development projects, promoting peace and reconciliation, empowering women and the less privileged, preserving the rich cultural heritage of ISU people, and contributing meaningfully to the sustainable development of all communities within the local government area.

The delegation further assured the  Chairman of their readiness to partner with his administration in building a more peaceful, united, progressive, and prosperous Isu local government area.

Responding, Hon. Kenneth Ukah, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed profounds appreciation for the visit, describing it as a clear demonstration of patriotism, unity, and genuine love for the development of Isu local government area.

He commended the members of the association for their noble vision,  and encouraged them to remain steadfast in pursuing their aims and objectives.

According to him, Umuada have always occupied a unique and respected position, as custodians of peace, justice, unity, and reconciliation in families and communities. He urged them to continue serving as ambassadors of peace and development, while fostering harmony wherever they find themselves.

The  Chairman further reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to partnering with women, youth, community-based organizations, and other critical stakeholders, whose initiatives are geared towards improving the welfare of the people, and accelerating sustainable development across Isu  local government area.

He also assured the Association of his continuous support, cooperation, and open-door policy, emphasizing that his administration remains committed to inclusive governance, where every meaningful idea and genuine contribution towards the growth and transformation of Isu local government area will always be welcomed and appreciated.

Also present during the historic courtesy visit were; the Secretary to Isu  local government area, Hon. Ndubuisi E. Ibezim, and the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Hon. Chief Ndudi Mba. Their presence further underscored the importance of the engagement and reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Isu LGA administration to inclusive governance, strategic collaboration, and grassroots development. They commended the leadership of the Isu  LGA Daughters Association for their patriotism, unity of purpose, and dedication to promoting peace, social harmony, and sustainable development, stressing that the progress of  the area can only be sustained through collective responsibility, mutual respect, and active citizen participation.

The meeting ended on a high note,  with prayers for lasting peace, unity and continued progress in the are. Both the  Chairman and Isu  LGA Daughters Association reaffirmed their commitment to working together in fostering a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Isu,  where development, peace, and shared prosperity remain the collective responsibility.
